Red

The tiny faerie snuck through the grass, the warm sunlight beaming down on her as she moved noiselessly through the leaves, many of them bigger than she was. She saw the splash of red and raced forward, her face lighting up as she saw the flowers she had long sought, red and full, spreading above her. The bright red flowers waved gently in the breeze as she climbed the stem, barely bending it as she worked to tear a blossom from the top. After gathering several of the blooms, she returned home, quickly finding her tiny sewing kit. Using a needle and thread invisible to a human eye, she quickly stitched the blooms together in layer after layer of red. Smoothing the petals down with her magic, she smiled as she admired the ball gown that she had created, setting it on its stand, smiling. The door to her small house opened and a dark haired faerie walked in, her back straight with royal bearing. The girl curtsied, her head bowed  as the woman walked in.
"Is it finished?"
"Yes, my lady."
"Good." the Faerie Queen looked at the dress and a smile crossed her face. "It is perfect."
"Thank you, my lady."
"I shall remember you the next time I need a dress." She nodded and two servants took the dress.
The young seamstress curtsied as the queen walked out, smiling to herself as she began to clean the shop, knowing all her needs were taken care of.

Orange

"You can't catch me!" Thimble yelled, running through the moss, laughing as his younger brother chased him.
"Thimble! Give it back!" Thread called after him.
Thimble slid into a small hiding place, trying to cover his brilliant orange hair.
